Kickstart Foundation is a Bengaluru-based grassroots football charity that was established in 2016. Kickstart Foundation is using the life-changing power of football to transform the lives of young people. The Foundation’s mission is to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to experience the mental & physical benefits of football, meet new people and learn life skills
Kickstart Foundation has supported over 2,500 girls and boys across India, especially in underprivileged communities by helping them embrace healthy and active lifestyles and also cultivate essential life skills through the beautiful game of football. The Foundation is well grounded in its commitment to “Transform the lives of young people in India through Football” and numerous children have been impacted and influenced by its No Cost High Impact initiatives. Headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Kickstart Foudation is a sister organisation of Kickstart FC, a leading Indian professional football club.
“We make a life by what we give”, Kickstart Foundation is rooted in its pledge to serve. Girls and boys from impoverished communities face distinct challenges – from malnutrition to shortage for safe playing areas to lack mentorship. Equipped with an environment to create awareness of the game of football and with proven, effective programs and the support of amazing partners, these challenges have been taken head on by the Foundation. With a mission to ensure that no talent is left behind, the Foundation has proven its resolve to nurture quality players. Few players graduated from its cradle to Kickstart FC, Karnataka State Football Team, I-League and Indian National Team.
