Community Outreach Program

Kickstart Foundation is dedicated to nurturing the passion for football in underprivileged communities. We identify locations with a strong affinity for the sport and establish free coaching programs, fully funded by the foundation and supported by our partners. These programs are open to both boys and girls from the selected localities, providing a unique opportunity for young talent to flourish. Our comprehensive program lasts for at least eight months a year, with five sessions per week, including one match day and four training days.

Sports Excellence

Kickstart Foundation discovers and nurtures young football talent through rigorous trials conducted across various locations in India. These trials are meticulously overseen by certified scouts from Kickstart Football Club, ensuring that only the most promising players are identified. The selected players, demonstrating exceptional talent and growth potential, are then inducted into the Kickstart Residential Program.

Kickstart Elite Residential Program

Exceptional young footballers identified through Kickstart Foundation’s programs are invited to join the esteemed Kickstart Elite Residential Program, where all expenses are fully funded by the foundation. This comprehensive program ensures players’ holistic development, providing highly nutritious meals planned by a dedicated nutritionist, and structured daily schedules balancing training, meals, entertainment, skill development, and academics.

Our past programs

Haier, a champion of women’s empowerment and grassroots development, has partnered with Kickstart Foundation as our Sports Excellence partner for 2022-2025. Their unwavering support has transformed the landscape for our women’s football team, providing top-notch facilities, training, and rehabilitation.

Thanks to Haier’s visionary leadership, Kickstart FC’s Women’s team has achieved unprecedented success: six-time Karnataka Women’s League champions and third-place finishers in the Indian Women’s League 2023-24. Moreover, Haier’s backing has enabled coaching programs for over 40 young athletes, shaping India’s football future. Haier’s commitment to empowering women and nurturing talent makes them a true hero in the world of sports philanthropy.

iValue, a dedicated advocate for youth development, partnered with Kickstart Foundation to deliver transformative football coaching programs in Periyar Nagar, Kolar Gold Fields, and Gowthampuram. This impactful initiative, spanning 8 months with 5 sessions per week, positively impacted over 150 young lives.

Through iValue’s support, each participant received comprehensive guidance from certified coaches and managers, life skills lessons, and essential playing equipment. Post-session power snacks ensured their energy and enthusiasm remained high. By empowering these young athletes with skills, confidence, and opportunities, iValue’s commitment to community development shines bright, making them a true champion of youth empowerment.

Accel, a visionary supporter of youth development, partnered with Kickstart Foundation to deliver a transformative football coaching program in Kolar Gold Fields in 2023. This impactful initiative positively transformed the lives of over 60 young athletes.

Through Accel’s support, Kickstart Foundation provided a comprehensive two-month program, featuring five sessions per week, life skills lessons, and top-notch equipment. Each player received a complete playing kit, while expert coaches and managers guided their growth. Post-session power snacks fueled their enthusiasm. Accel’s commitment to empowering underprivileged youth shines bright, making them a true champion of community development and a game-changer in the lives of these aspiring footballers.

Amagi, global tech leader, made a profound impact on Kickstart Foundation’s women’s football initiatives in the 2021-2022 season. Their generous support enabled Kickstart FC to provide top-tier facilities, including accommodation, nutrition, travel, training, and rehabilitation, elevating the women’s team to new heights.

Building on this success, Amagi also backed Kickstart Foundation’s football coaching program in Kolar Gold Fields (2022-2023). This transformative 10-month initiative empowered over 60 youth with comprehensive training five days a week, life skills lessons, and complete playing kits. Expert guidance came from certified coaches and managers, while state-of-the-art equipment and post-session power snacks fueled their growth.

Amagi’s dedication to nurturing women’s football and grassroots development has created a lasting legacy, inspiring a new generation of athletes and cementing their position as a champion of sports philanthropy.

The Australian Consulate-General Bengaluru proudly supported Kickstart Foundation’s inaugural EmpowerHER program, a groundbreaking initiative empowering young female footballers. This intensive 5-day residential program brought together 29 talented girls for holistic development, both on and off the field.

On the field, expert coaches honed their tactical, technical, positional play, and endurance skills. Off the field, participants engaged in vital sessions on women’s health and wellbeing, leadership, digital literacy, and financial literacy, fostering confident, well-rounded individuals. Through EmpowerHER, the Australian Consulate-General Bengaluru demonstrated its commitment to promoting gender equality, education, and sports development, inspiring a brighter future for India’s next generation of women leaders.

Our trip to Holland

In 2018, Kickstart Foundation created a life-changing experience for 11 talented young footballers, sending them on an all-expenses-paid, 10-day trip to Holland for international exposure and scouting. This pioneering initiative, fully funded by the Foundation, marked the first-ever flight experience for all players.

The 17-member squad embarked on a skill development tour of Eindhoven and Amsterdam, competing in friendlies against top-tier clubs like SBC Holland and AVV Zeeburgia. Kickstart Foundation seamlessly managed logistics, securing passports and visas for the players.

This transformative journey broadened horizons, honing skills, and fostering global connections. By investing in these young athletes, Kickstart Foundation demonstrated its unwavering commitment to nurturing India’s football talent and empowering them to shine on the world stage.
